Learn & Surf
In summer, English at Biarritz is partnering with a surf school to offer an English & Surfing programme. This English & Surfing summer programme is a great community for younger students to improve their English and grow to love the language by living it. The students attend English classes and participate in various activities.
The course is designed to ensure students benefit in full from the program and acquire a natural interest in improving their English in a lively and enjoyable environment. English at Biarritz can guarantee an exciting, fun and rewarding summer.
The one week program consists each day of 2 hours of English classes + 1 ½ hours of surfing lessons + a picnic lunch
General Information
The English courses take place at the language school in Biarritz.
The pick-up and drop-off point varies between the English school and the surf school depending on the daily schedule based on the tides.
English at Biarritz does not provide lunch. Each student is responsible for his lunch. Lunch is at the language school and is supervised by staff members.
The surf lessons are provided by the local surf school with which English at Biarritz is partnering.
Schedule: There will be no summer camps this year. See you all in 2024!

About the surf lessons:
Taught by friendly, fully qualified local surf coaches.
Small groups [maximum of 8 people by instructor].
Cover all the basics: from warm-up, to paddling, to catching waves and standing.
Relaxed, supportive vibe.
Surfboard and wetsuit are provided by the surf school. Just bring your towel, swimming costume, sunscreen, hat and flip-flops.
