The Team

We are a team of internationals, with a variety of English accents represented, from the United States to Australia, South Africa and the UK. We have a passion for teaching English but not in a way that is typically taught in schools. We believe learning should be fun and our teaching philosophy reflects this core belief. When we teach through games, theater and art, we have fun too. We aren’t just teachers, we are actors, dancers, artists, surfers and youth workers.

Learn and Surf

In summer, English at Biarritz is partnering with a surf school to offer an English & Surfing programme. This English & Surfing summer programme is a great community for younger students to improve their English and grow to love the language by living it. The students attend English classes and participate in various activities.

The course is designed to ensure students benefit in full from the program and acquire a natural interest in improving their English in a lively and enjoyable environment. English at Biarritz can guarantee an exciting, fun and rewarding summer.

The one week program consists each day of 2 hours of English classes + 1 ½ hours of surfing lessons + a picnic lunch

General Information

The English courses take place at the language school in Biarritz.

The pick-up and drop-off point varies between the English school and the surf school depending on the daily schedule based on the tides.

English at Biarritz does not provide lunch. Each student is responsible for their own lunch. Lunch is at the language school and is supervised by staff members.

The surf lessons are provided by the local surf school with which English at Biarritz is partnering.
